There are many vitamins and minerals our bodies need to function from day to day. Suffers of Fibromyalgia are often at high risk for many of them and don’t know it. We often don’t think of them because our diet often provides enough to keep our bodies going. However sometimes other conditions & medications make it hard for our bodies to absorb the proper amounts we need daily.
Below is a list of Signs & Symptoms of some deficiencies often hard to detect:
Magnesium Deficiency:
Symptoms:
Muscle Cramps
Anxiety
Spasms
Irritability
Fatigue
Low Energy
Headaches
Sleep Disorders
Potassium Deficiency:
Symptoms:
Fatigue
Weakness
Nausea or Vomiting
Tingling or numbness in feet and hands
palpitations
Constipation
Severe Symptoms:
Low blood pressure
Confusion [hallucinations]
abnormal Heart Rhythms [arrhythmia]
Most of these symptoms can be seen in many other conditions which explains why they are frequently over looked. They can be detected early if you have a CBC done or a [Complex Blood Count] with a request from you doctor. Having a blood test twice a year can catch conditions often hard to diagnosis. Stay tuned tomorrow when we talk about Vitamin B 12 and Vitamin D Deficiency.
Until then,

Thank you for the information. Diet is very important, including the right supplement. I have found that bone activating proteins have given my body an improvement.

Hi my name is Jill and I have been fighting fibromyalgia for over 14 years. I was hooked on pain meds. and all most died two times from accidental overdose. In late 2007 I just got off all the meds the doctor had put me on for years. I was a ginny pig to him and suffered for years. He just keep telling me he could help me. I now do not go to that doctor. I got a new one in 2007. But it was me who decided to start swimming and did that for a year. It really helped. Then I started walking. slow at first then up to 3 miles a day. That really started me feeling better. The outdoors was good for me. And yes I was in some pain at first but the more you move the more the pain seemed to go away. Then I joined last year the YMCA. I did Treadmill and weights. Then I really started to feel better. Yes don’t get me wrong I still hurt but I can work through the hurt. And Know my body does get a high from working out. I worked out everyday. Now I work out 3 to 4 times a week. I know the worse thing you can do is sit still and not do anything but gain weight and make the pain worse. Diet with less sodium is always better. Keeps you from swelling. And less stress on the heart and body. NO MORE FAST FOOD & SOFT DRINKS. I hope this info reaches people in need. There is actually a supplement that treats all these symptoms effectively. It’s called Reliv. I know many women who have been able to return to a normal life because of this wonderful product. It’s one of the best kept secrets.
My symptoms were extremely low energy, insomnia, foot pain and numbness, knee pain, burning eyes, headaches, neck pain, back pain and cramps. Within a month, every single one of these went away.
